About the Author

Welcome to Gentle Quiet Spirit.  My name is Jenn and I hope to encourage us to live a purposeful and joy-filled life in the Lord.  1 Peter 3:1-4 illustrates what incorruptible beauty looks like in the eyes of our Father.  We are daughters of Him when we obey His commands and serve Him with purity of heart.

One of the best ways to capture joy here on this earth is to count our blessings from Him.  Among those blessings are my husband, daughters, friends, and family.  Their lights shine brightly in my life!

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,  when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.  Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.  Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

  5. Jennifer,

I was very impressed by your blog I just read. Your grandparents are my aunt and uncle. I have lost touch with family through the years. With all the trials in life, it is great to be reminded we have reason to be joyful in the love of our father.
