I have been blessed to witness dear souls who portray the very definition of endurance. They own the type of steadfastness that is unshakeable, even when the life seems to throw the cruelest curveballs their way. Some experience excruciating pain with an illness, others have faced imminent death, while some have extreme emotional pain and suffering. While those are all different trials, my friends all have one thing in common: Faith in the One who promised us rest if we will hold His hand and not let go.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
~ Isaiah 40:31
I thank God for His Word and the examples of so many who loved Him and ran the race with Him, and for Him, all the way to Heaven.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perserverance the race marked out for us.”
Hebrews 12:1
The best race we will ever run is the one that ends in heaven with Jesus and our Father God. He has given us one another to cheer each other on, encourage one another, and lift us up when we fall down. Let’s train our hearts and minds with His Word and hold His hand with all our might.
It is an honor to run this race with you.
Perfect encouragement to continue the race. God bless you sweet daughter.
